Maya 2025 Pyside – The name of the pyside python module has changed from pyside2 to pyside6. And even if you try to load a scene from maya containing metahuman, the rig logic will not work due to the dna file non being recognized. I've also been working with pyside6 in maya 2025. Maya 2025 Pyside

A unique objectname() is needed for your widget so that it can be used and looked up through maya.openmayaui.mqtutil.findcontrol(). Qt high dpi is always on in qt 6. Pyside6 provides qt python bindings.

It’s been blitzed which is absolutely devastating. There isn’t much in the function. I have narrowed it down to the closeevent() in the main window.

Hey @dx0x58 and @polarcosine, i’ve updated the package it’s now compatible with pyside2 and pyside6, i tested it on maya 2023, 2024, and 2025 without issues.
